| The TLS
Kestrel Matte Box is designed to fit directly to most DV and HDV
cameras with threaded lens fronts or onto an optional 15mm support
bar system as shown above.
Perfect for Sony FX-1,
Z-1, PD-170, Canon XL1, XL2, XL-H1, JVC GY-HD100 to name a few.
All you need is to specify the threaded adaptor ring that your camera
needs to mount directly to the lens. If you dont know, please let
us know which camera you have and we will supply the correct ring.
The TLS Kestrel can also
be mounted onto standard 15mm support bars. All you need is the
optional bracket to go under the Matte Box and then you can attach
to the bars. TLS manufacture support bar systems for the Sony HDV,
PD and VX range of cameras, the Canon XL range and professional
cameras with the Sony type V-lock fitting underneath.
The support bar adaptor
will allow you to use the Kestrel on standard 15mm bars on motion
picture cameras such as Arri and Aaton.
