The Rode NTG
1 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone, specifically designed
for professional applications within the film, video, television,
voice-over and ENG industries.
The NTG1 provides an electronically balanced output stage and operates
on the P48 (phantom power) standard. The NTG1 offers wide bandwidth
and a controlled polar response coupled with low noise SMT electronics.
The NTG 1 is extremely lightweight making it ideal for mounting
directly to video cameras (with
optional accessories) or a Boom
pole.
The NTG-1 comes complete
with mount and windshield. The supplied windscreen effectively suppresses
wind noise when recording outdoors in moderate conditions. Optional
accessories are available for more demanding applications.

The Rode
NTG-2 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone, designed for
professional applications within the film, video, television and production
industries.
The NTG-2 provides a balanced low impedance output stage and operates
either from an internal 1.5 V battery (AA) or the P48 (phantom power)
standard. A wide bandwidth and controlled polar response coupled
with low noise SMT electronics, makes the NTG-2 the perfect choice
for film, video engineering and voice-over work. The NTG-2 is extremely
lightweight making it ideal for mounting directly to video cameras
(with
optional accessories) or on to boom
poles.
The NTG-2 comes
complete with mount and windshield. The windshield effectively suppresses
wind noise when recording outdoors in moderate conditions.
Optional

| We have found
that it can be quite difficult to find short XLR audio leads. Short
XLR leads are usually required if you are mounting your mic directly
onto your camera and it is only a short distance to the camera input
or mixer. In this case a 5m (18ft) cable can cause inconvenience particularly
if you are handholding the camera. Please note
- Because these cables are handmade, the lengths are not exact. The
size you specify will be the minimum length, but the cable could be
up to 10% longer.. |
